Supported by the WA Government and the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund, the next round of Farm Business Resilience Program workshops will be delivered by the team from College of Extension.
The program aims to build the strategic management capacity of farmers and pastoralists, managers and employees to prepare for and manage risk, adapt to a changing climate and improve the farm or station business’s economic, environmental and social resilience.
The program helps farmers and pastoralists identify gaps in their business strategy and provide them with the tools they need. It also supports farm business planning, tailored to participants’ business and situation, and the opportunity for professional feedback on the plans.
Workshops are planned for Carnarvon, Geraldton and Eastern Goldfields. Indicative dates for the first two venues are as follows:
- Geraldton – Monday 28th & Tuesday 29th JULY
- Carnarvon – Thursday 31st JULY & Friday 1st AUGUST
